Ashani’s insurance career began with McDermott-Costa over 20 years ago as a Clerical Assistant and moved to Accounting Assistant and later accepted the Controller position in 2006. She is also a past President of Bayfair Toastmasters, having served on their leadership team.
In 2024, Ashani was very instrumental in the merger of McDermott-Costa and InterWest. With her excellent communication, analytical and results-driven skills, she was a key contributor to making the transition a successful one. We are very fortunate to have her serve as Assistant Controller in support of the combined organization. We’re stronger together because of Ashani efforts.
