Heart disease is the leading cause of death in the United States. Fortunately, it is largely preventable and there are many things people can do to reduce their risk. American Heart Month is a time to remind Americans to focus on their hearts and encourage them to get their families, friends and communities involved.
On February 14th, all InterWest offices celebrated American Heart Month and showed their support for the Go Red movement by wearing Red and offering healthy red snacks as a reminder that eating well is one of the critical components to heart health.
