Our Select Business Unit was established in 2001 to provide insurance solutions to small business owners. Since then, our book has successfully grown to include businesses of all sizes and industries, including a special program for environmental field biologists and botanists. The program offers General Liability, Workers’ Compensation and Professional Liability insurance coverages for Environmental and Consulting Biologists who concentrate on the ecosystem of the deserts and conduct research to promote conservation of endangered species including, but not limited to, desert tortoises and their habitats. They study environmental degradation due to industrial development and global warming and its impact on the wildlife at risk.
