There’s no better way to describe Dan than having a “can-do” attitude. Being a Director of Property and Casualty Claims, he willingly listens to every complaint and is happy to talk with people when they are in their worst moods or going through difficult times. Never have I seen Dan in a down mood and he’s consistently willing to step in and have difficult conversations with an uplifting spirit.
Dan is a great leader of his team, but also spearheads many initiatives surrounding the internship program. It’s no wonder so many of our interns have ended up being a part of Dan’s team… That alone reflects his leadership quality.
Dan founded the Chico Striders Non-Profit, working with teenagers and young kids to help them find passion in competitive running and healthy lifestyles. He is also the middle school track coach, helping drive the same message to more kids. He has been a major contributor in the school supply initiative that InterWest has run the last few years, providing those kids in need with school supplies to succeed in class.
Dan never wavers from lending a helping hand and sharing his wealth of knowledge in coverage forms and client support. Never does he expect anything in return and all he has is pure genuine kindness toward all!
