InterWest insures many public and private schools and has the claims, loss control and risk management expertise to design unique deliverables individualized for each organization.
Since its’ original formation in 1982, InterWest has served as the Executive Director of Northern California Schools Insurance Group (NCSIG), a Joint Powers Authority authorized under the laws of the State of California to provide both liability and property insurance coverage protection for public schools. The JPA has been consistently “Accredited with Excellence” by the California Association of Joint Powers Authorities. NCSIG membership of 127 members includes K-12 School Districts, County Offices of Education, Independent Charter Schools and Regional Occupational Programs, encompassing more than 525 sites in 13 northern counties.
